Kitchen Appliance: Black and White wire?

January 17th, 2008 | by admin |
Adam D asked:

I have a rice cooker which I had to partially take apart so I could clean it and allow it to dry out after putting a cup of water into it (it wasn’t on when I did this) . I accidentally unplugged 2 wires (one black and one white) when I was taking it apart. I have identified where they need to go, but I am not sure which order to plug them in. One of the connectors has an L symbol next to the connector and the other has a N symbol. I think I need to plug the white cable into the N, and the black cable into the L. I am a little uncertain if I have them plugged in, so I haven’t tried the rice cooker yet.
