OLD ARCHIVE VIDEO HERE ….. ALSO THE VIDEO SHOULD BE WIDE SCREEN BUT IT AIN’T SO THE STOVE LOOKS WAY TALLER THAN IT REALLY IS!!!!!! This video was shot about a year and a half ago …. before I even did videos! The good ol’ J. Falk Compact Wood Stove available at www.trailgear.org Jim sells them but I made this one from plans on his site. A terrific lightweight easy to use stove. Very efficient and I have overlooked it lately in favor of the J. Falk BushWacker Stove. I am boiling about a cup and a half of water. But this compact Wood Stove will come with me again into the piney woods … that I promise you. I dug this up for BillyBob on Hammockforums to see. He has been messing with wood stoves and is looking for a real easy one to use. Well here ya’ go BillyBob …. doesn’t get much easier than the reliability of this stove. Of course … good and dry wood helps! I heard my self say “findable” and I over-used the word “basically”. Fast boil times and body warmth to boot. Enjoy. Burn. Flame On. Blaze. Torch. All secure in sector seven, Shug

For extreme vigilance it can be staked down but have never done that yet would in less than level conditions though as well have been burned by wood stoves they are rangy at times.
