My stove went out, and I was wondering how many days do I give the landlord to fix it before I take other measures. I have two children that live with me, and I do most of the cooking on the stove.

Two weeks is usual.
Report it to LL in writing.
He has day or two to get repairman out, and then may have to order parts.
You have to improvise, use your microwave, your oven, your toaster oven, etc., in interim.
