Does anyone here know anything about heating stoves?

My pot belly stove finally died the other day. Now I’m forced with the decision to build in a fireplace or get one of those pellet stoves. Does anyone know anything about pellet stoves, is it a good investment?

depending on your location a pellet or corn stove is a great alternative. Corn is cheaper if youlive in midwest.
I live in wisconsin and have a dual fuel boiler.. corn or pellets.
It works great. is completely automated .. all i have to do is keep it filled with corn and clean out the ash pan once in a while. Oh and you will ned alot of room to store pellets or corn.
pellets are kind of nice because they come in a bag that can be stacked easily.
They are kind of expensive up front also.. if money is an issue. you might want to start with the fireplace because its cheaper and graduate to the pellet stove later.
