Coleman-style camping stoves?

December 23rd, 2007 | by admin |
Jon Cope asked:

Does anyone have experience using Coleman camping stoves, the 2 - 3 burner ‘family’ type? Is it messy/smelly using the dual-fuel system (e.g. unleaded petrol), compared to butane gas cylinders? is the Coleman type hotter? Quicker to cook? Reliable? More economical? Cheers!

I have an old Coleman two burner stove. Not to hard to use, need to pump the tank to create pressure for the burners. Creates a good flame, boils water, etc.

Not as easy as a propane stove.
